Christopher M. Crowley
Mr. Crowley's practice includes business, real estate, commercial, consumer civil litigation, criminal litigation involving motor vehicles, and civil and criminal traffic litigation. He has prosecuted and defended thousands of these cases and appeared in the majority of the state courts of Missouri and Kansas. He also works with publicly-traded and closely-held entities and with individuals having consumer-oriented legal problems.
Business. Preparation, enforcement, and defense of commercial and consumer contracts with an emphasis on promissory notes and security agreements, deeds of trust and mortgages, personal property and real estate leases, and construction agreements, including (but not limited to) mechanic's liens.
Debtor/Creditor Relations. Preparation of financing documentation and performance of collection legal services in commercial and consumer matters for secured creditors, unsecured creditors, and defense for debtors with an emphasis in purchase money security interests and landlord-tenant legal matters.
Real Estate. Commercial lease preparation, enforcement, and defense; residential lease preparation, enforcement, and defense; mechanic's lien law.
Criminal and Traffic Defense. Representing more than 100 drivers each year in Kansas and Missouri for charges such as driving under the influence, driving while suspended, driving while revoked, careless and imprudent/reckless driving, automobile collisions, speeding, and other moving violations. Regularly appears in all municipal and state courts in the Kansas City metropolitan area and represents various insurance companies and their insureds through subrogation rights.
