Thomas R. Buchanan
Mr. Buchanan practices nationwide and has handled a broad range of litigation, including construction, environmental, commercial, business, employment discrimination, ERISA, insurance coverage and bad faith, product liability, professional liability, trade secrets, tort matters, and class action litigation. He has appeared as lead counsel in courts in Kansas, Missouri, Texas, Arkansas, Nebraska, Iowa, Minnesota, South Dakota, Wyoming, Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona, Utah, Idaho, Maryland, North Carolina, and Florida. In addition to expertise in his varied litigation practice, he has well-developed problem-solving skills.

Mr. Buchanan has worked with a number of charitable organizations, including membership in the Johnson County Bar Foundation, where he served as Chairman of the Advisory Committee of the Johnson County CASA program, and, for a number of years, working with his wife on the Salvation Army Christmas Angel project, which helps indigent families during the holiday season. Mr. Buchanan was awarded the 1990 Kansas Bar Association Pro Bono Certificate for his work in providing legal representation to those less fortunate.
