Civil Litigation.  Extensive experience in all aspects of civil litigation, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, alternative dispute resolution, trial, and post-trial matters.  Participated in bench and jury trials.  Briefing and arguing before appeals state and federal courts.

Business Transactions and Disputes.  Representation and advice to numerous individuals and small- and medium-sized businesses in connection with business transactions, contracts, business disputes, non-competition agreements, confidentiality agreements, and trade secrets.

Construction Law.  Part of a small and aggressive litigation team that successfully represents design professionals in complex construction litigation in various states across the country.  Recently materially assisted in briefing and obtaining seminal Nevada Supreme Court decision applying the economic loss doctrine to design professionals in commercial projects in Nevada.  Represents individual contractors and small construction businesses in connection with contracting, owner, and contractor disputes, mechanic's liens, and enforcement and collection matters.

Employment Law.  Represents individuals and employers in actions involving claims of employment discrimination and retaliation under Title VII, the ADEA, the Family Medical Leave Act, the Whistleblower Act, and violations of state law.  Representation and advice to employers in connection with employment matters, regulation, and compliance.

Insurance and ERISA.  Experienced in making coverage determinations and providing coverage analyses to insurance companies.  Has successfully litigated insurance coverage and bad faith claims for both insurers and insureds.  Representation and advice in connection with ERISA and related litigation.
