John Mueller III

Mr. Mueller's legal practice and experience span many areas of civil law. His primary focus has been on representation of businesses of all sizes, both for-profit and nonprofit, across the many practice areas encountered by these clients. He also represents individuals in personal and business matters, personal injury actions, contract claims, and family law disputes.
Agricultural Law and Real Estate. Representation of farmers and ranchers for acquisition, development, zoning, natural resources controversies, and condemnation matters.
Business Enterprises. Representation of business entities regarding choice of entity, contracts, capitalization, loan applications, acquisition and sale of businesses, employment agreements, non-competition agreements, and succession planning.
Civil Litigation. Representation of businesses in construction litigation, contract disputes, and defense of employee claims. Representation of individuals in personal injury actions, employment disputes, and contract claims.
Creditor Representation. Representation of financial institutions in collection litigation, loan workouts, and loan restructuring.
Construction Law. Representation of businesses and individuals in construction contracts and construction disputes with contractors.
Elder Law. Representation for elder law issues, including wealth management, durable powers of attorney, advance directives, estate planning, guardianships, and conservatorships.
Employment and Labor Law. Representation and defense of local, regional, and national business clients as they develop and implement fair employment practices, defend those practices in various forums, and resolve employment problems and issues at employer workplaces.
Family Law. Representation of clients in divorce, separation, paternity, and child custody and support disputes, with an emphasis on representing fathers in obtaining custody of their children.
Real Estate. Representation in acquisition and sale of agricultural, residential, and commercial real estate.
Taxation. Representation of clients in tax planning, tax disputes, and issues concerning tax-exempt entities.
Wills, Trusts, and Estate Planning. Representation of clients in the preparation of trusts and wills, including representation of trust beneficiaries in receiving, managing, and growing family wealth. Representation of legal representatives and those serving under durable powers of attorney in managing the affairs of others.
Workers' Compensation. Representation of employees in workers' compensation claims against Missouri employers.
